AppNana: Download Free Apps and Earn Rewards

AppNana is a new service that rewards you for downloading free iOS and Android apps. Like FeaturePoints, AppNana uses a credits system. These credits are called Nanas. The more free apps you download, the greater the reward. Eventually you can earn enough Nanas to redeem prizes like PayPal cash, Amazon gift cards, and even the ability to download paid apps for free.

So how is this different from FeaturePoints, exactly? AppNana was nice enough to hook me up with an exclusive offer to share with everyone, allowing for a nice head start. To earn 2,500 Nanas instantly, simply sign up for AppNana by going to appnana.com/thecreativeone and using my invitation code: d861349

To receive proper credit, iOS users must sign up through Safari on their iPhone, iPod touch or iPad. If you're on Android, simply search for AppNana in Google Play and download the app from there. No matter what platform you use, be sure to input my invitation code to receive your free 2,500 Nanas.

I plan to promote AppNana in future videos, so let me know if you have any questions. Enjoy!

How to Create a Website in 5 Minutes or Less

Contrary to what some may think, creating a website doesn't have to be time consuming or difficult. It's actually very simple, provided you use the design platform that works best for you. Speaking from personal experience, I prefer Squarespace for a variety of reasons — which can actually be read about here.

Squarespace is an all-in-one design and hosting platform that makes creating websites more about enjoying the experience and less about worrying whether you know how to code or not. And speaking of which, don't let the simple user interface fool you. Squarespace may appear basic, but it's actually capable at pulling off some very professional techniques.

The setup process in building a website via Squarespace is incredibly quick. Requiring just a few minutes of your time, you'll be surprised at just how easy it really is. Of course, you're responsible for creating content that will populate your website, but getting the foundation in place is the part that's over before you know it.

The video below walks you through everything you need to know, including how to choose a template and create your first blog post. Everything else is explained clearly on Squarespace's website, but I am happy to address any questions or concerns that you may have. You're always free to contact me here.

If you do sign up with Squarespace, let me know and perhaps I'll showcase your website in a future video of mine!

Squarespace: Everything You Need to Know

Since first hearing about it in 2007, Squarespace has been my preferred go-to platform for website design and hosting. Between the intuitive user interface and the ability to implement complex design elements, it's hard to find another service that compares on a similar scale.

So what makes Squarespace so special? Let's take a look at everything it has to offer, as well as my thoughts on some features that I believe stand out.

Simple, Yet Powerful

Adding and arranging content is incredibly easy, but that doesn't mean Squarespace holds back on power. You have complete control over how your site looks, including CSS modifications. And if coding isn't your thing, the included WYSIWYG editor does an excellent job.

Free Custom Domain

This is actually a new perk that was introduced a little while back. When signing up for an annual Squarespace account, you automatically get a free custom domain to go along with it. This is essential for branding your website and making it that much more personal.

eCommerce

Squarespace now has full support for running an online store. Are you looking to sell items? Not a problem. Accept payments? Yes, and with security to back you up. It's all there.

Professional Templates

Whether you're running a website for your business, opening an online photography shop, or you're simply looking to write a blog, Squarespace has a template for everyone. Each design is professionally constructed with the latest HTML, CSS and JavaScript techniques.

Customization

Using the built-in Style Editor, you have complete control over how your website looks and feels. This means personalizing fonts, altering colors and even customizing the layout — including the ability to use a sidebar or two.

Unlimited Domains

Every Squarespace account includes support for as many custom domains as you want, so you're never restricted to just one idea. This is especially useful if you prefer to associate individual domains to specific audiences.

Social Media Integration

One of the newer Squarespace features I really enjoy is the social media integration. Without having to use third-party plugins, share buttons for sites like Twitter and Facebook are included from the start.

Image/Video Galleries

With the ability to drop in image and video galleries anywhere on the page, this is a godsend for those looking to design a media-rich website. Each gallery also offers several display effects, including hover and transitions.

Search Engine Optimization

Squarespace does the SEO work for you. Whether it's through properly tagging your posts/pages or setting up XML sitemaps, the only thing you need to worry about is creating quality content. You'll be ranked in no time!

Site Analytics

Learning your site's visitors' behavior is crucial for success. Thankfully, Squarespace makes monitoring traffic a breeze. Not only can you learn where your page views are coming from, but you can even track search keywords and determine which ones are working best. Google Analytics integration is also included.

Reliable Hosting

Squarespace hosting, without a doubt in my mind, is the most reliable hosting I have ever used. It's scalable, you never need to install any updates or patches... It just works. No matter how popular your website may become, you never need to worry about it going offline due to heavy traffic.

24/7 Customer Service

Another thing I love about Squarespace is their customer service. I've received answers to my problems during all times of the day — and usually within 24 hours.

And so much more...

There are still so many things about Squarespace that I haven't mentioned, including Dropbox integration, mobile layouts, a built-in image editor, Facebook page integration and even support for Amazon Associates — which is huge with me.

To see a full list of everything Squarespace has to offer, you can sign up for a 14-day free trial here. And of course, if you have any questions, feel free to personally email me. I'm a big fan of Squarespace, so I am always happy to share my feedback.
